It seems that the Cathay pacific Airways “pay later” option doesn’t exist anymore: now, you can block the reservation fare for 72 hours but you have to pay an unrefundable caution and I’m not sure that you will get a booking email…

My boyfriend and I just used fakeflighttickets.com for our trips to Bali. That site generates an exact copy of Expedia booking confirmation. Compared it to pervious, real, bookings I made and similarity is really remarkable.

I’ve also tried other sites, like onward.flights, but the ticket did not look anywhere close to a real one.

How create a real ticket for 24h for free:
1 Go to http://www.aeroflot.com and book a flight ticket
2 On the payment screen change language to RU.
3 Choose payment method by cash
4 They will give you booking number PNR for 24h. But without flight itinerary
5 Go to Photoshop or website like http://www.keyflight.io for create itinerary

In reply to Colin. Hey Colin, we were in Indonesia on a 1-month tourist visa and extended for another month. To get the extension we just bought a cheap AirAsia flight to KL. This might be your best bet too. The visa renewal process we did through an agent, we found it quite complicated.

Hi Lisa. Anything further you can add on flying to Indonesia. We are about to apply for an extendable sixty day social visa and believe proof of travel may influence our application. What was your experience? Cheers. Colin

In reply to Don White. Absolutely sure. I can't answer for the airlines, but I guess it's no different for them than selling a fully refundable flight (which also tend to be on the higher fare levels).

In reply to Don White. There are a few countries that absolutely require documented proof of onward travel. At the moment of writing, they are Peru, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States, Philippines, Indonesia, and Brazil. You need to check with the consulate what kind of proof they need. Could be that a bus ticket to the next country is enough. That being said, when we went to Indonesia and the Philippines they didn't check.

Some of the suggestions are good but some are really risky and I would really not want anyone to use them just to visit a country … not worth it in my opinion

Great tips! Did you know if you “book” a more expensive ticket (like business class for example), you often have right up until the week before the flight to pay for it? Same idea but gives you a bit more of a window.
