A visit to Kawasan Falls

On Saturday November 21st we did another motorbike tour. We decided to see if we could find the Kawasan Falls. They’re located on Bohol about 22km from Tagbilaran. According to our Airbnb host Sander they were nice for swimming. Sounded good to us!

It was a bit of a drive, but quite scenic. We weren’t exactly sure where to find them, but armed with a little map we found on Google we thought we would be able to find it. We had to ask a few times, but then finally we were there! Entrance fee was 20 pesos for an adult and 10 for a child, so altogether it was 50 pesos (about €1,-). The area of the waterfall is beautiful and there’s an easy pathway going to the waterfall itself. Very suitable to visit with kids! It was a bit of a climb to get into the water and it was colder then the sea, but Jace absolutely loved it and we did too.

Right, no wonder we missed this sign when we drove by coming from the other direction!

The area around the water fall is gorgeous. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to explore further
